I have been thinking for quite some time now on this question. Is knowledge really equals power? In our quest for success, we constantly upgrade ourselves. Attend seminars, read books on personal developement and self help, seek mentorship and many other methods to seek gratification. Although these are definitely good food for the mind. We can sometimes be compel to do it out of fear of losing out.

The result. Information overload. This is especially so in our pursuit for online success as technologies and methodology changes rapidly. Sometimes within a very short period.

I particularly remember a friend of mine who hopp from seminars to seminars. Attending one personal developement courses after another. While i think it is alway good to learn new things, i wonder has he ever stop to reflect on what he has learned and apply it in his life before he move on to his new challenge.

In my pursuit in the internet business. I’ve personally encountered an information overload senario. It was only when i stop to practice and perfect what i have learn that i was able to take control and see results in what i was doing. Having said that, can we still say that knowledge is power or shall we say applied knowledge is power instead.
