Step 7- Believe in yourself. We live a world of constant stress and high expectation. One mistake and we are mark as failure for life. The harshest thing we can inflict on ourselves is to stop believing in our own ability. There are times when we believe in everything and everyone but ourselves. We beat ourselves down to a state of depression. Nothing we do seems rights, the entire world seems to be focusing on our failure. There is no hope anymore and we do not see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Picking yourself up is not an easy task. But is it not all together impossible. First acknowledge that you made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, you are not alone. There are people out there who are in worst shape than you. Be grateful for what you have and the right discisions you’ve made. Life is a journey not a destination. What you are facing now is just an obstacle to help you grow stronger not destroy you. Learn to be at peace with yourself. Reconcile your feelings.Remember you are unique. There is only one you in this entire universe . You are special.
There is a powerhouse of potential residing inside you. Stop letting others tell you what is right or wrong. Decide for yourself what you want to achieve in life to be consider a success. Focus your thoughts on the positive and put emotions into it. Visualize yourself in the state of success. This way you add dimension into your thoughts and create the excitement to drive you to achieve your goals. Last but not least is action. Stop procrastination and take action immediately. Do not let the inertia of previous failure prevent you from moving forward.
As the ancient chinese saying goes ” failure is the mother of success.” Without failure, how do you know or appreciate what success is? Learn from your bad experience and improve on it. Never stop learning and alway tell yourself you can do more. Start with little positive thoughts and work on it. It’s easier to achieve small things than sabotaging yourself with unrealistic goals. Be congruent and persistent. Work on your thoughts daily until it becomes a habit. The secret begin every successful person is in their lifestyle. Once you establish it, its your for keeps.
